Hardpan

A

group of four extremely talented, normally solo, singer/songwriters, including that elder Saint, the Holy Church's very own Terry Lee Hale. The other three musicians which make up Hardpan are Todd Thibaud, Joseph Parsons and Chris Burroughs. These four gentlemen normally deliver solo albums for two of the best independent labels in Germany, namely Glitterhouse and Blue Rose, but somehow managed to bend their various schedules to allow them to record an album together, as described on their own website, and then take it on tour.

A mainly acoustic album, with elements of country, rock, folk and blues, superb playing and songwriting, and more than a whiff of tequila, the Hardpan CD is one of the best albums to be released in recent years, thoroughly recommended by the Holy Church!

The Church helped to organise a Hardpan concert in Munich on October 14th 2002, which carried on until the wee small hours and, of course, ended in the traditionally approved manner, with large quantities of the Holy Sacraments in evidence. The other members of Hardpan were duly inducted into the Holy Church; pictures from the ceremony can be seen by clicking here.
